Oraz Jandosov was First Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the Kazakhstan State Committee for Investments. He also has held different senior government positions, including Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, First Deputy Minister of the Economy of Kazakhstan, etc. He oversaw macroeconomic stabilization, banking and fiscal sectors reforms, establishment of a mandatory private pension funds system, and establishment of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mr. Jandosov currently serves as Director of RAKURS Center for Economic Analysis and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Economists of Kazakhstan, and he also is a distinguished professor at Emerging Markets Institute, Beijing Normal University.
